About
Where craftsmanship shapes gathering.
The Williams Shop began with a shared vision between Zackery and Melanie: a place where making, building, and hosting could coexist. What started as a woodworking studio has grown into a crafted setting for weddings, celebrations, and meaningful gatherings.
Hand-built by Zack and framed by Melanie’s ornamental gardens, the shop reflects a blend of woodcraft, structure, and careful design. We create live-edge furniture and custom garden pieces with the same attention we bring to our venue — a post-and-beam event space shaped by craft and grounded in its surroundings.
On the neighbouring properties, our three on-site accommodations offer a quiet retreat for guests visiting Powell River or attending events. Together, the workshop, venue, gardens, and accommodations form the heart of The Williams Shop: a place where craft, cultivation, and celebration meet.
From May 15 to September 15, the workshop transitions into a fully customizable open-air venue for weddings, celebrations, and private gatherings. For the rest of the year, the space returns to its roots — a working woodcraft studio alive with sawdust, slab work, and creativity.
