The Williams Shop - Rooted in the land. Made for gathering.
The Williams Shop brings together growing, making and gathering across a working landscape shaped over time. Apple and pear orchards, ornamental gardens, a licensed commissary kitchen, guest accommodations and our open-air post-and-beam gathering space all form part of a property where what is grown, produced and experienced here is increasingly connected.
As the orchards become established and the distillery takes shape, that connection continues to deepen — creating a place where ingredients grown here can become products made here, and where food, drink, celebrations and gatherings can all be experienced close to their source.

The Orchards & Distillery
Apple and pear orchards are now established across the properties, forming the growing foundation of our distillery. As the trees mature, fruit grown here will become part of what we produce here — connecting the land, the seasons and the spirits we create. The distillery is the next expression of that work, bringing growing and production together at The Williams Shop.
The Venue
An open-air post-and-beam gathering space set within the ornamental gardens and the wider working landscape of The Williams Shop. The venue hosts weddings, celebrations, dinners, workshops, meetings, performances and private gatherings throughout the year, with the flexibility for each event to take its own shape.
The Commissary
Our licensed commercial kitchen supports food preparation, production and the gatherings that happen here. Designed for caterers, food producers, bakers, instructors and small-scale production, the commissary adds another working layer to the property and creates opportunities for food grown, made and served here to become increasingly connected.
On-Site Accommodations — Stay With Us
Three distinct accommodations across our adjoining properties give guests a place to settle in, stay close and experience more of The Williams Shop and Powell River. They are available for wedding and event guests, families and friends travelling together, and visitors simply looking for a comfortable place to stay.
