It started with a shop. It became something much bigger.

Long before The Williams Shop was built, the ornamental gardens were already taking shape here.

Then Zack built the shop — a place to work, build and create. We got married in it, surrounded by those gardens, and that day changed the way we saw the space. What had been built for one purpose felt completely different when it was filled with people.

From there, each step seemed to make the next one clear.

The Shop evolved into a place for weddings, celebrations, dinners and gatherings. The neighbouring properties brought three distinct guest accommodations, allowing people to stay here and experience more of the property and the surrounding area.

At the same time, what we were growing here began to take on a much bigger role.

Apple and pear orchards now extend across the properties, creating a productive landscape alongside the ornamental gardens that have always been part of this place. The commissary kitchen added a space for food preparation and production, and the distillery became the natural next step — giving us a way to take what is grown here and turn it into something made here.

That connection has become the clearest expression of what The Williams Shop is becoming.

Today, growing, producing and gathering all exist alongside one another. The orchards, distillery, commissary kitchen, gardens, guest accommodations and event space are connected parts of one working property, each adding another layer to the experience of being here.

Weddings and celebrations remain an important part of The Williams Shop, but they are now part of a much broader story. Throughout the year, the property continues to evolve through the seasons — from growing and harvest to production, dinners, events and gatherings that bring people closer to what is being created here.

What began as a place to build things has become a place where we are building something entirely different.
