Welcome to The Williams Shop — an open-air post-and-beam event venue in Powell River, British Columbia. Built by hand and surrounded by ornamental gardens, orchards and the landscape that has shaped it, the venue feels both distinctive and completely at home in its surroundings.
Every beam and board was cut, milled and finished on-site from trees harvested directly from the property. Structural details incorporate salvaged steel reclaimed from local logging equipment and reworked by hand — pieces of the region’s working history built into the Shop itself.
With 22-foot ceilings, crystal chandeliers, mature gardens and a tranquil pond just beyond the open walls, The Williams Shop offers a setting that feels intimate, beautiful and entirely its own. The flexible layout can be shaped around weddings, celebrations, dinners, retreats, workshops, performances and private gatherings of all kinds, throughout the year.

Booking Information
The Williams Shop is available throughout the year for weddings, celebrations, dinners, meetings, retreats, workshops, performances and private gatherings.
Rental options are flexible and depend on the type of event, guest count and how long you would like to use the space. Wedding weekends, weekday gatherings and multi-day events can each be structured a little differently to suit what you are planning.
Bookings include exclusive use of the venue for your rental period, access to the ornamental gardens and pond, heated guest washrooms, on-site parking and use of the licensed Commissary kitchen as needed for your event. Our three on-site accommodations can also be reserved separately, subject to availability.
