The Williams Shop grew from a shared vision between Zackery and Melanie — a place to create, build, and welcome others. What began as a woodworking shop soon became something much larger: a handcrafted space for connection, creativity, and celebration.

Built by Zack’s hands and surrounded by Melanie’s gardens, the shop blends artistry and warmth in every detail. Here, we craft live-edge slab furniture and custom garden structures with the same care that shapes our venue — a space designed for weddings, retreats, and meaningful gatherings.

Just steps away, our two on-site accomodations offer a peaceful place for guests to stay and experience Powell River’s quiet beauty. Together, these pieces form the heart of The Williams Shop — a reflection of who we are and what we love: craftsmanship and creating spaces that bring people together.

From May 15 to September 15, The Williams Shop transforms from a woodworking studio into a fully customizable event venue perfect for weddings, private celebrations, retreats, or creative gatherings. The space offers a flexible blank canvas that can be tailored to your unique vision.

Throughout the rest of the year, the shop hums with creativity.
